MediaTek presents its new Dimensity 9000+ chipset

The Asian company presented the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, its high-end chipset, at the end of the year (we leave you the note below). However, after 7 months we have the recharged version of this set of nano processors, the new Dimension 9000+. Let’s meet him.

The new Dimensity 9000+ has the same 4 nanometer lithograph and structure of the normal version. That is, one octa core cpu with the 1+3+4 distribution. Nevertheless, the high-power single core Cortex-X2 boosts the frequency up to 3.2 GHz. The rest is unchanged, that is, the three Cortex-A710 cores at 2.85 GHz, and the four high-efficiency Cortex-A510 cores at 1.8 GHz follow.

Likewise, the ARM Mali-G710 MC10 GPU also increases its power with a frequency not yet revealed. According to company figures, chipset is 5% faster on your CPU, while GPU power is increased by 10%.

On the other hand, it has improved RAM memory bandwidth. The integrated LPDDR5X type supports 8 MB of L3 CPU cache and 6 MB of system cache.

Others Supported items are Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6E connectivity. As in GPS, the chipset supports the new GNSS with Beudiou III-B1C and 3CC.

The new chip arrives to compete in the high range, and its direct rival is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. Finally, it is the first devices that have this processor will arrive at the end of this year.
