Things at Oppo continue to go according to their international expansion plan, and to that end, the successor to the Reno 7 Pro has been unveiled today, which maintains MediaTek’s Dimensity line of processors as its most striking feature.
Thus, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro mounts a Dimensity 8100 processor, in addition to a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 1,080 x 2,412 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10 + with certifications for Netflix and Amazon Prime. It has 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Its rear camera is triple with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor as the main lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle as a complementary one, while a 2-megapixel macro sensor also makes an appearance. The front camera, meanwhile, is 32 megapixels and uses the Sony IMX709 sensor.
The camera will be improved thanks to the MariSiliconX chip that promises better results in 4K low-light video, 4K HDR video and better selfies.
The battery this year reaches 4,500 mAh and has a fast charge of 80W by cable. It comes with Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1. It is priced at USD $575 and will be available this month.
