Samsung’s new Galaxy A series phones would lose one of their photo sensors

Perhaps one of the best features of Samsung’s Galaxy A series, aside from its price, is that the photographic compromises that need to be made aren’t as noticeable as other brands, and Samsung knows that very well.

So to further enhance its portfolio of options, The Elec in Korea advises that upcoming phones Samsung A-series phones will come with one less sensor than we’re currently used to.

And the sensor that would disappear would be none other than the depth sensor, with the Galaxy A24, A34 and A54 being the first to debut this new camera setup without the depth sensor.

The reasons for eliminating this sensor from the series would be that, on the one hand, people are not occupying much of these sensors in their phones, and, in addition, by eliminating them, the cost-effectiveness of the brand’s phones can be improved.

It will only be in March 2023 that we will see the new Galaxy A series debut, but when we see it, they will no longer look the same as they do now.
