If you’ve seen the advertising on TV recently, you’ve probably seen the Scotiabank commercial touting that you’ll soon be able to pay with Fitbit Pay and Garmin Pay smartwatches.
Well, everything seems to indicate that the clients of said bank can already add their card to the Fitbit Pay service and thus be able to make payments directly with their smart watch.
The user “whoisviktu” from the Operators CL community (Discord), tells us that he has managed to add his Scotiabank debit card to the Fitbit Pay service, as shown in the following images:
The process is the same as always, you have to enter the card data and complete the requested verification, which in this case is done by SMS. Note that the message says “Apple Pay”… Are they telling us something or did they confuse “Fitbit Pay” with “Apple Pay”?
Finally, the user tells us that he has tried to add his card to Google Pay, but so far has not been successful.
Many thanks to user “whoisviktu” for letting us know!
