YouTube’s Picture-in-Picture mode is now available on all supported iPhones and iPads

Last year. YouTube started rolling out the update for YouTube Premium that allowed Picture-in-Picture mode in the app, but only for people in the United States, and now that’s changed.

It turns out that now, if you’re a YouTube Premium subscriber, and you have a device that’s running iOS 15 or higher, or iPad OS 15 or higher, You can now use Picture-in-Picture mode no matter where you are. If you are not Premium, then only in the United States will you be able to use it.

If you didn’t know what this mode is, basically what it does is allow us to minimize the content of a YouTube video so we can do other things while we continue to watch the video on that little floating screen.

The function is not new at all, and it is that Android phones have already implemented it for about 5 years, and it is very surprising that it has taken so long to have it available on iOS, since it is already an essential part of the daily live from the users of the green robot.
